As I read it, I’m sorry to say, I was surprised that I could relate to it so strongly. I was convicted in my spirit. I find that I’m also dependent on my phone and reach for it without thinking. Am I that dependent on my relationship with my Savior? Is He the one I turn to when I have a few moments, or when I need someone to talk to? Is He the one I seek when I need advice? I pray that these words will encourage you to think about who and what you depend on... My phone was broken and out of warranty. No problem, I won’t mind a few days off the grid... or so I thought.  Creamy Tortellini Soup Recipe from "A Pinch of Yum" Ingredients 1 lb ground mild Italian sausage 1 small yellow onion, diced 2 celery stalks, diced 2 large carrots, peeled and diced 3 garlic cloves, minced 1 tsp kosher sea salt 1/2 tsp ground black pepper 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning 1 tsp fennel seed, crushed or chopped One 6oz can tomato paste 1/2 cup dry white wine 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 6-7 cups of chicken broth 14 oz refrigerated cheese tortellini 2 cups half and half or heavy cream 1 handful fresh spinach, chopped Parmesan or parsley for topping Directions In a large stockpot set over medium-high, cook the sausage, breaking up into little pieces. When sausage is mostly browned, add onion, celery and carrot. Sauté for 5 minutes or until vegetables are soft. Add the garlic, spices, and tomato paste. Sauté for an additional 3-5 minutes, or until fragrant, stirring occasionally to prevent burning. Add wine and let it cook out for a few minutes. Stir the flour into the sa...
